About
ANIMAL ALLIES OF TEXAS is a foster-based, non-profit animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life of homeless companion animals in our community. We rely on our dedicated volunteers who foster both “adoptable” animals and “treatable” animals – those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. Our volunteers bring their foster animals to meet and greet events at locations throughout the Dallas metroplex to find the best match for both our foster animals and potential forever families. We currently support over 100 dogs and cats.
Since our incorporation in 2001, we have been involved in many community service and humane education projects. We offer a low-cost vaccination clinic on the first Sunday and third Saturday of the month at our storefront in Garland, Texas. We also host vaccination, heartworm, and microchip clinics at city shelters and various locations throughout the community.
Dear to our hearts is our Saving Grace Fund, which provides financial assistance for families who cannot afford medical care for their pet. Our Board of Directors decides on a case-by-case basis how the funds are distributed.
