Grant Halliburton Foundation and Center for BrainHealth, part of The University of Texas at Dallas, are partnering to present Journey: The Art and Legacy of Grant Halliburton, an exhibition on view Sept. 825 at the Center for BrainHealth. Journey will feature more than 50 of Grants original paintings, charcoal works, drawings and sketches, along with selections from his personal writings and poetry and a Listening Lounge featuring music he wrote and recorded with his high school bandmates. The exhibition will span three floors of the Center for BrainHealths Brain Performance Institute building. A preview on the first floor will welcome visitors and introduce the exhibition, with most of the collection and accompanying elements displayed on the second and third floors.

The exhibition will be open to the public Sept. 8th through 25th on Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. Appointments are available on other weekdays by calling Center for BrainHealth at 972-883-3400. WHAT: Americas Pub Quiz is back on Wednesday nights at Lakewood Brewing Co. as the best live-hosted trivia show brings its free quiz nights to the North Dallas brewery and taproom. Little farmers can dress in their cowboy and cowgirl best for Rodeo on the Farm at Heritage Farmstead Museum. Children can run the barrels, rope a hay bale steer, watch a sheep roundup, meet the farm animals, listen to a story and make a rodeo craft.

Designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups, Little Farmer Friday is most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5. Activities run from 10 a.m. to noon, and the farm grounds remain open until 2 p.m. Families are welcome to bring lunch or a snack to enjoy on the farm.

Tickets start at $6.77, including fees, and infants 12 months and younger are free. Museum members at the Family level or higher receive one free adult ticket with the purchase of a childs ticket. Events often sell out, so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.
