GLEE - Garland LaborDay Exchange Events will take place on Labor Day, September 1, starting at 9 a.m.  The 69th Annual Labor Day and Festivities will take place in Downtonw Garland until 3 p.m.  The parade will start at Glenbrook and Walnut with the main part of the parade being down Main Street to 5th and back to Walnut.  For the parade watchers further enjoyment, there will be food and merchandise vendors on the Square in Downtown Garland and a kids area with games and a train ride.  The Clasic Car Show will be on 6th Street at State and there will be entertainment in the Plaza Theater.  All of this if brought to the community by the Noon Exchange Club of Garland-a civic organziation working to make our community a better place to live and work.
