Join us for the fifth annual DYA Summer Musical Theatre camp. This camp is designed to bring your child excellent instruction in acting, vocal production, and movement as well as workshops in set design, make-up, playwriting and audition skills. All of this will culminate in a professional quality performance at the end of camp with the full production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” We believe the best experience for young professionals is to have a professional experience.
The camp runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 10-28, and is open to any child who has completed 3rd grade through completed 12th grade. There are only 50 spaces available and the cost is $550. You can register online at www.DallasYoungArtists.com. The camp takes place at both the Plaza Theatre on the Downtown Square in Garland and in the Small Theatre of the Granville Arts Center.
Performances are Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday June 29 and Sunday, June 30 at 2:30 p.m. in the Small Theatre of the Granville Arts Center.
