Garland Slides Into Playoffs For First Time In 42 Years

The Garland Owls beat the North Garland Raiders 14-5 yesterday afternoon. For the first time in 42 years, Garland baseball will see a playoff game.

This playoff drought included current coach Nick Siratt’s time playing for Garland. After winning the decisive game, the team poured two jugs of water on Siratt’s head. “It’s been great to share this with the fan base and the alumni," Siratt said.
