Kick off the holiday weekend with Garland's Red, White & YOU! on Friday, July 3, from 5 to 10 p.m. in Downtown Garland!
The evening features live music from ACM Award-winning country duo Tigirlily Gold, The American Bombshells, and the 36th Infantry Division Band: Ryhthm & Boots.
Families can enjoy carnival attractions, kids' activities, a foam-and-bubble party, pickleball, and more! Don’t miss the pie-eating contest, where 10 contestants will tackle full-size pies with no forks allowed.
Visitors can also enjoy a variety of food vendors and Downtown Garland dining options, and browse a market featuring handmade goods, art, and crafts.
The night concludes with a 20-minute fireworks show accompanied by a live performance by the Garland Symphony Orchestra at 9:30 p.m.
Free shuttles run from Lavon Baptist Church and Garland High School. Attendees can also ride DART’s Blue Line to Downtown Garland Station for hassle-free transportation to the event.
Bonus: FREE showing of Hamilton at the Plaza Theatre. Costumes highly encouraged!
